June Openings


La Mala, 126 N. West St. – This Mexican cocktail bar and restaurant from Durham is now open in Raleigh across from the closed 42nd Street Oyster Bar. Enjoy ceviche, tacos, Mexican-inspired cocktails, and a large patio, perfect for summer near homes for sale in Raleigh NC.

Stellar, 1912 Bernard St. – Located in High Park Village, home to J. Betski’s and Timber Pizza Co., this modern American wine bar offers a chic ambiance and weekly BYO vinyl record nights.


Village Juice & Kitchen, 3701 Exchange Glenwood Pl. – Known for healthy meals, smoothies, salads, bowls, and wraps. Great for anyone looking at condos for sale near me or Wake Forest homes.


Cup A Joe, 2109 Avent Ferry Rd Suite 142 – The return of this Mission Valley coffee staple brings back house-brewed java and drink specials.


Nanny Goat, Hub RTP – A boutique international bodega from James Beard-nominated chef Preeti Waas. The bodega offers pre-packaged soups, sandwiches, and more. A second Cheeni location is coming soon to the same development.


May Openings


Mala Pata, 2431 Crabtree Blvd., Ste. 102 – Latin American cuisine with a twist from Angela Salamanca. Favorites include tuna tartacos, pozole verde, and whole grilled fish with handmade tortillas. Don’t miss the mini bar, Peyote.

Epic Chophouse, 8551 Brier Creek Pkwy. – An 8,000-square-foot upscale steakhouse with modern flair. Don’t miss the angry lobster appetizer.


Peregrine, 1000 Social St., Ste. 150 – Blending Southern comfort with South Asian spice, Peregrine has quickly become one of Raleigh’s most talked-about new restaurants.


The Crunkleton, 403 W. Johnson St. – A Chapel Hill staple now open in Raleigh. Try the 42-ounce Tomahawk steak for a group dining experience.


Brewery Bhavana, Fenton, 850 Lower Garden Ln. – The new Fenton location of this dim sum and beer favorite is now open.

Omakase by Kai, 15 Seaboard Ave. – Sushi and sake by chef James Chung, with a wraparound sake bar.


Urban Oak, 200 W. Davie St. – Located on the 14th floor of the Tempo hotel, Urban Oak is Raleigh’s tallest rooftop bar with two patios and small plates.


Tucker Street Diner, 421 N. Harrington St., Ste. 110 – From the team behind Shiny Diner, this Smoky Hollow spot promises classic comfort food.


Paul and Jack, 911 N. West St., Ste. 107 – Artisan bakery and café with triple berry bombolini and lavender vanilla lattes.


Naōs, 2800 Renaissance Park Pl., Cary – Greek comfort food with a home-like atmosphere and dishes like Moussaka.

Barrio Tacos and Tequila, 421 N. Harrington St. – Opening July 2025 with build-your-own tacos and creative cocktails.

Bitter Social, 106 S. Wilmington St. – New concept by Bittersweet taking over Gallo Pelon’s old space in August 2025.

Saint-Pierre, Raleigh Iron Works – A wine bar by Oakwood Pizza Box’s Anthony Guerra opening in summer 2025.


Campo Taco Co., 1001 S. Saunders St. – Family-owned restaurant opening in Rockway with tacos, cocktails, and margaritas.
